Professor Eric Bussière has held the Jean Monnet Chair in the History of European Construction at the Paris-Sorbonne University since 1998. He is member of several scientific councils, including the Ministry of Finance Committee for the Economic and Financial History of France, the Scientific Council of the European Academy of Yuste in Spain, Corresponding French Member of the Portuguese Academy of History. He is the President of the Scientific Council of the Georges Pompidou Association. He is also the Administrator of the International Robert Triffin Foundation in Belgium. His work focuses on the history of international economic relations, European history and European construction. He is the author of several books, including ‘Les années Barroso 2004-2014, Europe: crises et relances’ and ‘Un Projet Pour L’europe: Georges Pompidou Et La Construction Europeenne’.
