Alexandra Ricard-Guay

Alexandra Ricard-Guay is the main researcher for the study ‘Demand-side of trafficking in persons in the domestic work sector’, conducted by a research team in seven European countries. This study is part of the DemandAT project (FP7 European Commission funded project). Prior to joining the GGP in September 2014, Alexandra was Associate Researcher at the Transcultural Research and Intervention Team, Affiliated Centre of McGill University as well as Coordinator of the Quebec Coalition Against Human Trafficking. She has more than seven years of professional experience in anti-trafficking initiatives and research in this field. Alexandra holds a PhD in Social Work from McGill University and a M.A. in Political Science and International Relations from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM).
