Kalypso Nicolaïdis is Professor of International Relations at the University of Oxford and director of the Center for International Studies. She holds a Ph.D. in Political Economy and Government from Harvard University and an MPA from the Kennedy School of Government. Professor Nicolaïdis is also a member of the European Council on Foreign Relations and a founding member of the Spinelli Group. She was an advisor to the Greek Foreign Minister, George Papandreou, on European affairs in 1996 and advisor to the Dutch presidency of the EU.
