Juan María Vázquez
Juan María Vázquez is the Secretary General for Universities at the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport. He is also Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Professor of Animal Surgery at the University of Murcia. Previous positions include Vice President of Research at the University of Murcia, Executive Secretary of the R&D Sector at the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities, and Director General for Research, Science and Technology in the Secretariat of State for Research, Development and Innovation, within the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
