Federica Mogherini from 2014 is the High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the Commission. Previously, she was the Italian Minister for Foreign Affairs. Mogherini was elected to the Chamber of Deputies in 2008 and in 2013. She was a member of the Italian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and of the delegation to NATO. She is also involved in the work of the Council for the US and Italy, the Council of the European Leadership network for Multi-lateral Nuclear Disarmament and Non-proliferation, and the German Marshall Fund.
