
Andrea Enria
Andrea Enria is the first Chairman of the European Banking Authority since March 1st 2011. Previously he was Head of Regulation and Supervisory Policy Department at the Bank of Italy, Secretary General of CEBS and Head of Financial Supervision Division at the European Central Bank. Before joining the ECB he worked for several years in the Research Department and in the Supervisory Department of the Bank of Italy. Mr Enria has a BA in Economics from Bocconi University and a M. Phil. in Economics from Cambridge University.
