Roberto D’Alimonte

Roberto D’Alimonte is Professor of Italian Political System at LUISS. He was Full Professor of Political Science at the University of Florence (1974-2009), and has been visiting professor at Yale and Stanford Universities. From 1993 on, he lead a research group focused on elections and the evolution of the Italian political system, whose findings have been published by Il Mulino. He is also Director of the Italian Centre for Electoral Studies and commentator for Il Sole 24 Ore newspaper. His main research fields are in voting systems, elections and electoral behaviour in Italy.
