David Miliband
David Miliband is a former member of the UK Parliament and in September will take up the post of president and CEO of the International Rescue Committee. From 2007 to 2010 he was the UK’s foreign secretary, having spent a year as secretary of state for environment, food and rural affairs. In 2004 Miliband was appointed cabinet office minister and the following year he became minister of state for communities and local government. He was elected as a member of parliament in 2001 and the following year was appointed schools minister.
