Barry Eichengreen is the George C. Pardee and Helen N. Pardee Professor of Economics and Professor of Political Science at the University of California, Berkeley, where he has taught since 1987.
He is a Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research (Cambridge, Massachusetts) and Research Fellow of the Centre for Economic Policy Research (London, England).
In 1997-98 he was Senior Policy Advisor at the International Monetary Fund. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences (class of 1997)….

Daniel Gros – Director of the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) since 2000, Vice-President of Eurizon Capital Asset Management since 2005, and member of the Supervisory Board of the Central Bank of Iceland since October 2009. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Chicago and is the author of several books and numerous contributions to scientific journals and newspapers.

In the past Daniel worked at the IMF (1984-86), at the European Commission (1989-91) as economic adviser to the Delors Committee, which developed the original plans for the Economic and Monetary Union, and has also taught at several universities.
